169 – “Ask for help. Not because you are weak, but…” – Les Brown

Hey mama. This is Mama’s Daily Dose, the short actual podcast for mamas who want more. I’m Meghan Q Barrett of allyoumama.com. It is, quote Thursday, my mama friends. And we have a quote, that goes along with the theme of asking for help, and that it is cool to ask for help. And it’s from Les Brown, “Ask for help, not because you are weak, but because you want to remain strong.” Let’s get moving before we get interrupted.

Many mamas out there. Don’t want to ask for help. Because you think you’re not being strong enough, you think that you should be able to do this on your own, you should be able to handle this. But really asking for help, is showing that you are strong, you’re strong and you are confident enough to ask for that help. Because you want to be that awesome mama, that patient mom that present mom, and you just can’t do it all alone. We can’t go through life alone. Look at how much your kids need your help every single day. No matter the age, I know, I still need the help from my mom, I call my mom all the time when I need some help. So asking for help. It’s not only cool, but it’s also a sign of your strength. You are a strong confident mama. And you need help.

Mama your action today. Again, ask for help. If you didn’t do it the other day, here’s your sign to really do it again today and do it every single day. What do you need help with even something small like for me, my husband, I asked him to clean out my French press coffee maker. And it’s not this huge act. But it helps me so much because in the morning, it’s already all prepared for me. And I’m ready to go and it just helps me feel a little bit more relaxed. So what can you ask for for help today, and I’m going to hop on action right now… The help I need is for you to leave a review and to share this podcast with your mama friends. That way we can reach more mamas and mamas can be more confident about themselves. And we can create this generation of kids that are just confident and going there and going after what they want and working hard for it! And have a great day free of mama guilt because you deserve it. And thank you for helping me out!
